IAA 2025 | KOTEI Opens European Tech Show!

On September 8th local time in Germany, the IAA MOBILITY 2025 grandly opened under the theme "Experience Everything in Motion." As one of the world's top five auto shows and the largest international automotive exhibition in Europe, IAA has attracted numerous global brands, making it a key platform for global product debuts, cutting-edge technology releases, and cross-industry exchanges. At this year's event, KOTEI presented a "tech show" tailored for the European market, highlighting innovative achievements in the deep integration of AI technology and automotive software. The company also shared multiple practical applications in core areas such as vehicle operating systems, smart cockpits, intelligent driving, and cross-domain integration, demonstrating the leading technological role of Chinese enterprises in the global automotive industry transformation.

At Booth A3/B21 in the Messe Munich, KOTEI adopted the theme "AI Empowers the Future of SDV," featuring two main exhibition zones: SDW and SDV. So, what new technologies, products, and experiences were on display? Let’s take a closer look!

SDW: Software DreamWorks

SDW (Software DreamWorks) is an end-to-end intelligent automotive software development platform driven by AI and human-machine collaboration, developed by KOTEI. By deeply integrating AI, human expertise, and professional knowledge, the platform utilizes intelligent agents such as REQ Agent, DEV Agent, TEST Agent, and PM Agent to efficiently standardize requirements, intelligentize development and design, automate testing, and refine project management, fundamentally revolutionizing traditional software development models. SDW provides AI upgrade solutions based on customers’ existing platforms, enabling shorter cycles, lower costs, and higher-quality software development, leading the automotive software engineering industry into a new era of comprehensive AI integration. Key highlights included a multi-agent collaborative automotive software development solution, as well as innovative agent applications like AUTOSAR Agent and MBD UT Agent, showcasing KOTEI’s pioneering exploration in AI-driven software development.

A²OS

A²OS is a next-generation vehicle operating system developed by KOTEI for central computing architecture, supporting human-machine collaborative development and empowering rapid R&D of domain control software. It combines AI large model capabilities with vehicle OS functionalities, building an integrated AP/CP platform under a hardware-software decoupled architecture. It supports plugin deployment and service-oriented communication, adapting to various domain control forms. A²OS not only embeds intelligent capabilities—providing agent middleware and multimodal support—but also offers a human-machine collaborative development toolchain and simulation verification environment to accelerate software development and testing while improving delivery efficiency. Currently, A²OS can cover full scenarios from central controllers to traditional MCUs, helping OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers achieve high-quality, rapid-iteration software development driven by AI.

Smart Cockpit

Leveraging its self-developed UE for Automotive platform, KOTEI launched a mass-production-ready 3D HMI solution for smart cockpits that integrates cockpit, driving, and parking functionalities. This solution incorporates dynamic time and weather systems, an environment-aware driving and parking map, 360° surround view, and dynamic holiday-themed features, delivering a more realistic and immersive 3D smart cockpit experience through seamless "one-shot" interactive transitions. Supported by the Kustom3D spatial interaction system, it decouples workflows and simplifies 3D scene construction. Using element-level object building and parametric design, it enables dynamic reorganization and seamless switching of 3D scene elements, creating a flexible and ever-changing "adaptable space." Additionally, integrated with multimodal AI 3D technology, users can generate 3D models via natural language or images and efficiently deploy them to the HMI interface, achieving personalized, "on-demand" interaction. This drives the evolution of smart cockpits from deliverable products to continuously operable platforms.

Intelligent Driving

KOTEI introduced a digital twin intelligent driving solution centered on an "end-cloud integrated system." Based on the concept of "vehicle-cloud collaboration," the system leverages vehicle connectivity technologies to break geographical limits, enabling cross-domain multi-end coordination among physical vehicles, digital vehicles, and large screens. It collects and transmits vehicle operation data—including throttle opening, steering angle, and gear status—in real time, with emergency events triggering accurate reporting of CAN signals and images within seconds. Meanwhile, through 360° driving environment reconstruction and multi-dimensional scenario perception, it provides comprehensive data support and in-depth analysis capabilities for intelligent driving systems. Built on the A²OS foundation, it fosters a vehicle-cloud integrated ecosystem, helping automakers achieve data closed loops and end-cloud integration. Furthermore, KOTEI demonstrated its engineering capabilities in mass production development for intelligent driving, including digital vehicles, AVM, automatic parking, and digital maps.

XCU

Through an interactive cross-domain integration product map, KOTEI clearly displayed its full-stack, full-domain solutions for vehicle control domain products and cross-domain controllers. With extensive mass-production experience in central and zone controllers (CCU and ZCU) and executive components (VCU, LCU, MCU, BCM, TBOX, etc.), KOTEI can adapt to different chip platforms and toolchain requirements, reduce system integration costs, meet functional safety and information security standards, and provide comprehensive software services. Currently, based on KOTEI’s A²OS vehicle operating system and adopting SDW’s human-machine collaborative development paradigm, intelligent demand analysis, application logic development, AUTOSAR configuration, and testing can be achieved. Using SOA software development methods, functions can be validated early on digital vehicles, significantly reducing technical barriers and improving delivery efficiency.
